Farewell, Chesley District High School!
For more than six decades Chesley District High School has stood at its current site on 4th Ave. SE, and has served its students and our community well.  Throughout the 2013-2014 school year, there have been a series of celebrations as we come to the conclusion of Chesley District High School.

Starting in September 2014, a new JK-12 school, Chesley District Community School, created as a result of the consolidation of Kinghurst Community School.  Technically, CDHS will no longer exist as of September, 2014; however, our school has left an incredible legacy.  The CDHS legacy is that of school that maintained high standards of achievement, superior levels of student participation and a welcoming and engaging school climate.

Hello, Chesley District Community School!
In typical CDHS fashion students and staff welcomed the students and staff from Kinghurst with an enthusiastic and lively event featuring welcome signs, cheers, high fives, music, dancing and some delicious cake.   Contact Information for CDHS will continue for our new JK-12 school.   Contact CDCS by phone @  519-363-23244.

 School Community Council
The first meeting of the School Community Council for Chesley District Community School will take place in September.    For more information please contact   Kirstin Hastings and Jennifer Isber-Legge.

Chesley District Community School - Code of Conduct

We are in the process of writing a Code of Conduct for the new Chesley District Community School and we need your help! We want this code (the rules about how all people should behave in the new building) to be ready by the time students start to move in. A team of students, staff, and parent representatives worked together with a behaviour specialist to generate the rough draft of the code of conduct; however, there are a few areas that require input to move ahead.

We have created a survey using Survey Monkey to be completed by staff, students, and parents.  Please take the time to go to the following link and share your opinions on a few key issues to help us move forward in creating the final draft of the Code of Conduct for Chesley District Community School.
